onlinespinwheel helps an organizer do two specific things with a list: choose the next entry, or divide the whole list into random teams. The tools are free to use and do not require an account.

Built around the actual task

The name picker is useful for speaking turns, activity choices and everyday decisions. The team generator assigns each entry once and keeps headcounts within one person of each other. They share the same list rules, but keep separate working sessions so moving between pages does not silently replace your work.

The wheel is a way to present a result, not the source of randomness. Large lists use a readable result card instead of squeezing hundreds of tiny labels onto a circle. You can turn off animation and continue using the same selection rules.

Your list does not need an account

List processing happens in your browser. Session recovery, an optional saved-list library, local file backups and printable results help you reuse your work without a cloud account. A browser can still lose local data, so keep a downloaded backup for a list you need later.

Clear limits instead of grand promises

These tools do not verify identities, balance skills, certify a draw or provide independent supervision. They are not designed for paid raffles or high-value prize allocation. A repeated name is a repeated entry unless you deliberately remove it.

How this project is funded

The intended business model is display advertising, not subscriptions or paid feature unlocks. This version does not load ad or external analytics scripts. Any future activation requires updated disclosures, the relevant consent setup and placement checks. No advertising interaction will be required to use the core tools.
