Apply one list
Each non-empty line is an individual entry. Two people with the same name are not silently merged.
EVERYONE IN. MIXED TOGETHER.
One list. Even headcounts. A fresh mix of people.
HOW GROUPING WORKS
No accounts, skills database or student profiles. Just the entries you choose to put in this tab.
Each non-empty line is an individual entry. Two people with the same name are not silently merged.
Ten entries in three teams produce headcounts of four, three and three. A random team receives the extra entry; no team is empty.
Rename a team and copy its members, or copy all teams. Generating again may occasionally produce the same arrangement; there are no hidden retries.
This tool shuffles entries. It does not use gender, role, experience or skill to choose membership. Do not use the result as evidence that teams are balanced by those attributes.
Use the random name picker and wheel spinner to choose one entry at a time. Read the random rules and limitations before organizing a draw.
If 10 entries are divided into 3 teams, one team has 4 entries and two teams have 3. Which team gets the extra entry is randomized. Every entry appears exactly once, and no team is empty.
No. Group membership is random. The generator does not assess ability, gender, role, experience, accessibility needs or personal relationships. Any such requirements need a separate process.
This version accepts a number of teams, not an exact or maximum team size. Check the headcount preview before generating. It does not support locked members, constraints or weighted grouping.
Reshuffling with the same team count keeps your edited team names and creates a new membership arrangement. Generating a different number of teams resets team names. A random result can occasionally repeat; the tool does not secretly retry it.
No. Use the explicit transfer control in the other tool and confirm the incoming list here. Plain navigation does not copy your list, and names are not placed in a URL.
